What is Bukisa?

Bukisa is an online community very similar to HubPages, Helium, Triond or many of the other similar ventures, where you can write, share, comment, make friends and best of all get paid for your activities online.

Another great thing about Bukisa is that you don't need to depend on your visitors for "actually" clicking the ads. Bukisa pays you on the grounds of page views, which in internet jargon is called CPM basically put in layman terms is you get paid and ‘X’ amount for every thousand views of your content.

If you already have a Facebook account then you could use that profile and connect directly to Bukisa and not have to go through the registration process.

However if you wish to have a separate profile then make sure to choose a suitable username, many people tend to use silly words, I feel if you are serious about setting-up passive income source online then you need to create a profile that you can use for other purposes, that way you are continuously marketing your presence on the net. This will lead to generating more traffic to your content, more traffic you get the better your chances of making online money.

To making money using Bukisa you have to get busy submitting any of the following:

Articles – This could include things like recipes, stories, poems, instructions on doing something or whatever you can think of and write about. (If you submit something that is already published on the web somewhere, be sure to give it a fresh, revised title as well as a new summary. Freshen up the piece as well to really make it search engine friendly.)

Audio – If like creating music or an audio book of some kind then why not share it with thousands of other people on Bukisa, while earning some money from it.

Video – Or you may prefer to create short video’s of you and your dog taking a walk in the park, why not share that with people on Bukisa and earn a nice keep from it.
Slides – You have this bright idea why not create a Microsoft power point slide and share it, kee-ching...great Bukisa’s just paid you for the visitors that have viewed your slides.

Ways to increase your income with Bukisa

When on Bukisa view other Bukisan’s content rate and comment on others peoples work. Most of the time they will reciprocate, if not every time, they'll return the favour.

Add significant tags (keywords) and titles and use keywords that someone might search for on the Internet or on Google. Don't overstuff your article with tags, make your work flow naturally like a conversation you might have with a friend.
